So pleased to share my favorite video produced from a shoot for the new Manfrotto BeFree tripod. We spent a week traveling to some of the most iconic photography locations in California–it was a dream job, with unbelievable locations and even better teammates. I had the pleasure of working with lifestyle apparel brand Mountain Khakis this past summer, capturing a slew of imagery featuring their 2013 Spring/Summer product line. We had a jam-packed two days of shooting in several different locations in northern Utah, including Park City, Uinta National Forest and the rural farming paradise of Oakley. What can I say??? I love my car, and I’m a sucker for good video. Many thanks to my assistant Nate Sorensen and NS Innovative for the killer edit. This was filmed over several days in the Palouse region of eastern Washington. It served as a fun project to work on, especially when conditions weren’t overly conducive to stellar landscape photography. And of course, huge thanks goes out to my vehicle sponsor, Mark Miller Subaru for their support!

I had a blast at the recent PDN Outdoor Photo Expo here in Salt Lake City. It was fantastic to attend seminars by many other talented photographers, and I had a great turnout to my presentation as well. For all those who couldn’t make it, I’ve included my feature slideshow below. The focus of my seminar was on the fusion of scenic landscape and active lifestyle imagery. Hint: Get the HD uploading, take a lunch/snooze/whatever break, and enjoy the show when you get back!
